The NTOG Steering Committee represents all Nordic countries and includes key specialists in oncology, pulmonology, radiology, pathology, and thoracic surgery. This diverse group is dedicated to advancing lung cancer research and improving patient outcomes across the Nordic region. Steering Committee Meetings
November 2024 | Reykjavik, Iceland
The committee holds 1-2 physical meetings annually to ensure collaboration and alignment with NTOG's mission and initiatives. Most meetings and subgroup meetings are held virtually. During our meeting we discussed:
- Clinical Studies: Discussions on ongoing and upcoming research.
- Lung Cancer Screening: Subgroup efforts for harmonizing research and clinical protocols.
- Education: Updates on the Nordic Radiotherapy Diploma Program (NORTHDIP) and positive feedback from participants.
