Travelling to Copenhagen

By air

Copenhagen Airport (CPH, Kastrup) has frequent direct flights from Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Reykjavík, and across Europe. It is about 8 km from the centre and linked to the city by train and Metro.

By train

Long-distance and regional trains arrive at Copenhagen Central Station (København H). From southern Sweden, the Øresund train from Malmö takes about 35 minutes across the bridge.

By road

From Sweden, the Øresund Bridge connects Malmö to Copenhagen (toll applies). City-centre parking is limited and paid, so public transport is usually easier.

Getting to the venue

  • From the airport (CPH): take a train or the Metro to København H (about 13–15 min), then one S-train stop to Vesterport — the closest station, about 5 min walk — or walk roughly 15 min along the lakes.
  • From Central Station (København H): about 15 min on foot, or one S-train stop to Vesterport.
  • Tickets: buy in the DOT or DSB app, or tap a Rejsekort; the airport–city trip covers a few zones.
  • On foot or by bike: the centre is compact and very bike-friendly; city bikes (e.g. Donkey Republic) are widely available.
